Watch: ‘Dine with the Davids’ YouTube trailer

Have you ever wanted to spend an evening talking tanks with two of the world’s most well-regarded tank experts? Well, now’s your chance. On Saturday, August 17, The Tank Museum is hosting a special fundraising dinner for a limited group of 40 people with the Museum’s YouTube stars; much loved moustachioed Tank Historian David Fletcher and Museum Curator David Willey.

For £85, guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, with plenty of wine and beer too.

Stories and anecdotes, with a question and answer session, will allow you to get to know these tank aficionados. Your ticket will include access to The Tank Museum on the day and with the evening expected to end at 9.15pm to allow diners time to catch taxis and trains home.

All proceeds will go towards supporting The Tank Museum and its work to curate the world’s finest collection of armoured fighting vehicles.

Museum Curator, David Willey, said: “This promises to be a very interesting and entertaining evening. It is always a pleasure to meet our audience, the people who make it possible for us to do what we do; helping us to ensure that we can continue to maintain and preserve real history.”

Tickets are £85 and available on The Tank Museum’s website: https://www.tankmuseum.org/davids

The evening is for over 18’s only.
