Run and drives very well for an 80 year old car. The flat head straight six Chrysler is smooth and pulls very strongly. All round hydraulic 10" drum brakes were highly advanced for 1939 and are remarkably effective.
Having been built in the dry climate of South Africa and remaining there for much of its life, the Plymouth is very structurally sound with almost no visible signs of welding.
Recent improvements include:
Remanufactured brake master cylinder
Remanufactured brake wheel cylinders
Complete new 3 piece clutch
Replacement inlet manifold
New 6 volt battery
Rechromed rear bumper
